BOOKS I HAVE READ

This is another first for the author. I give this book 5 stars.  It is very well put together.

I absolutely love all the pictures of the herbs and spices. At least I can tell what they look like.  He goes into great detail about the herbs and spices. I like that, so there is no guessing what they are.

I also like the recipes that go with them. I can not wait to try some of the recipes.

This has been a pretty good cook book so far. I give it 4 stars.  I would also recommend this cook book. I look forward to trying some of these recipes.

I like the pictures that are in the book so that you can see what the recipes are suppose to look like. I just wish there were pictures for all of them. But overall The cook book is very well done.

She also puts a chart in the back of the cook book for allergen free and vegan cakes and list what cakes are dairy free, vegan, nut free, and soy free.  She also lists sources for getting the gluten free and dairy free ingredients for the recipes. She also has a conversion chart in the back.

This is a first I have read from this author.  So far I love this book.  I also love Jeff Foxworthy.  I love what he had to say about Francine.  I give this cookbook 5 stars.  I would definitely recommend this cookbook to others.

Francine starts out by telling the story behind her and her family, and how she got her recipes.  She talks about meeting Jeff Foxworthy and being on a cooking show. My husband looked through the cookbook soon as I got it and has already found 4 recipes that he wants me to try.  So I guess I will be cooking out of it real soon.

I love the pictures with some of the recipes. It helps to know what you are cooking is suppose to look like. I like how she explains how to do something instead of just putting the recipe and saying, here it is.  The only drawback I saw in the entire book was that there were not enough pictures.

This is the first book by this author I have gotten.  I gave this book 5 stars. I recommend this book highly.

I love the pictures that is in the book with the recipes.  I like to know what I cook looks like when I finish it.

I love this author. I have read some of her books and I highly recommend this book. I give this book 5 stars.

This book tells the story about Tilly and Ruth and how they left the Amish community to live in the English world. They get invited back for their parents 50th anniversary party.  They decide to go even though they will have to remember the tragedy that tore the family apart. 

Tilly and Ruth decided to go back to the English world after the party.  The family finally worked through some of their issues while they were there.

There are photos and easy to understand instructions.I look forward to trying these recipes. I just hope they look and taste like the pictures.

The book has eleven different categories of foods for grilling.  I highly recommend this book.

This is the first book I have received by this author.  I gave this book 5 stars.  The recipes look easy to make and you won't have to spend a fortune on the ingredients.

I can not wait to start making some of these recipes.  I hope the taste as good as they look. One thing I don't like is cookbooks without pictures. I want to see something before I cook  it. That's usually how I pick new recipes, by seeing a picture of it, that way I know what it is suppose to look like.

My only criticism is that every recipe doesn’t have a picture.  If you are not a fan of sweets, then I don't recommend this book.  My husband has to have his sweets every night after supper, so this is gonna get used a lot. I highly recommend this book.

I love this book. I give it 5 stars. I highly recommend this book.  I can not wait to start using the recipes. It has a nice assortment of recipes.

The stories behind the recipes and styles of food are nice.  Also the pictures were good. I like to see what my dishes are suppose to look like, that way I will know if it turnred out ok.  The recipes are a mixture of drinks, meats, sides, and desserts.

If you love Southern cooking as much as I do you will not regret adding this cookbook to your collection. I will be getting more of his cookbooks. The recipes are all easy to follow and delicious.

I love this book. I give it five stars. I used to live not far from Water Valley, Mississippi, an never knew this store was there.  I highly recommend this book.

Some of the recipes remind me of the ones my mother used to make, like the tomato gravy among others.  She said that she was taught to make these things from her mother.

Alexe tells stories along with the recipes. I love that this book has pictures. I like to see what things I make for the first time are suppose to look like.  I can not wait to start using these recipes.
