BOOKS I HAVE READ

I love this book. I give it five stars. I used to live not far from Water Valley, Mississippi, an never knew this store was there.  I highly recommend this book.

Some of the recipes remind me of the ones my mother used to make, like the tomato gravy among others.  She said that she was taught to make these things from her mother.

Alexe tells stories along with the recipes. I love that this book has pictures. I like to see what things I make for the first time are suppose to look like.  I can not wait to start using these recipes.
