This is a new author for me. When I got this book, I did not realize to what extent that it covered. I recommend this book for anyone that has any kind of stomach problems, and give it 4 stars. I am also a diabetic so this will help me with that. The pictures are beautiful.
This book gives sample meal plans and a grocery list for a 7 day meal. It recommend to get fresh items if at all possible. One of the questions asked was that this person was reading the label, and saw that all the ingredients except one was ok. She wanted to know if she could eat this, and was told no. She said that the closer you adhere to the diet during this time period, the more you will learn about how your IBS symptoms respond.
This book lists what you need to put in your pantry and it breaks it down by food groups, like meats, milk, vegetables, grains, proteins, beverages, sweets, oil, uts and seed, fruit, poultry, just to name a few. It also tells you how to read food labels. The recipes are nicely written, and they look like they will taste good. I will be trying these recipes.
