This author is a new one for me. I give this book four stars. I would recommend this book. It really helps to read the first book by James Anderson. Ben Jones drives an eighteen wheeler. He drives up and down Hwy 117. This book has been confusing to read.
Cecil Boone was the manager of the truck stop. He was talking to Ben and told him that someone had left him something on Island 8. Ben asked Cecil what is was, and Cecil told him that it was none of his business. He finds a Hispanic boy, named Juan. He finds a note pinned to Juan that said not to tell anyone, Bad trouble. As he was getting ready to leave, his friend Ginny, who he shares a duplex next to Ben's. She gives him a car seat with her daughter Belli, in it. He keeps refusing to take her, but in the end he takes her. So he starts his journey on Hwy 117.
This has been the most confusing book that I have read. I liked the book, but I don't know if it was the book or me but it was all over the place.
I received this book for Blogging For Books for my honest opinion.
